Virginia Ruth Tingle, age 93, passed away on August 23, 2019 in Gulfport, MS. She was born in Jones County, Mississippi and a lifelong resident of Orange Grove and Gulfport. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Orange Grove and loved quilting and working in her yard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wiley E. Smith and Gracie Bonner Smith; and her husband, Charlie William Tingle, Sr.
She is survived by her four children, Charlie Tingle, Jr., Virginia Trussell, Martha Knight (James), James Tingle (JoAnne); 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport is serving the family.
