Virginia Ragland

After having been blessed with 95 years of the most beautiful, sweet spirit, Virginia Poe Ragland was gently released into God's loving arms on Sunday, June 24, 2018.
Her generosity and kindness will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Virginia was born in Birmingham, AL, and a native of Oxford, Mississippi.  She retired from Gayfers Dept. Store, where she made many friends and acquaintances.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lily (Bailey) Wood; husbands, James "Fred" Poe, W.D. "Lym" Ragland; siblings, Estelle Wood, Margaret Greene, W.C. "Buddy"  Wood, Gloria Krumcke, and Gene Wood.
Virginia is survived by her children, Sheila Ivy (Robert), Sherry Cruthirds (Wayne); grandchildren, Sindy Holder (Herbie), Michele Cotten (Jim), Brandon Cruthirds (Erica) and Kelli Garrigues (Justin); great grandchildren, Jordan Bell (Bo), Jonathan Holder (Nicole), Justin Holder, Cameron Cotton, Taylor Donegan, Caleb Donegan, Hayden Donegan, Connor Cruthirds, and Kate Cruthirds; great great grandchildren, Ryleigh Grace Bell and Brantley Steele Bell (due in Dec. 2018).
Her fun loving manner and unconditional love will be greatly missed by all.
The family would like to give a special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice, Rhonda Smith, RN, and Heaven's Harbor, especially Crystal and Carla.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi.  A graveside service will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
