Virginia Powell

Virginia Elizabeth Powell, 60, of Saucier, MS passed away Sunday August 8th, 2021, at St Joesph's Hospice Care Hospital, Gulfport Ms.

A private service will be held Sunday September 12, 2021 at James Hill Park, 1900 Switzer Road,  Gulfport Ms 39507 @ 2pm. Contact Carmen Fenton (228)547-6426.

In lieu of flowers , memorials may be made to Susan DuBois in care of Michael Fenton, 137 A Hayden Dale Road, Wiggins Ms 39577.

Virginia Elizabeth Powell was born in Harrison County, on December 7th, 1960, to the late Manuel Powell Sr. And Susan DuBois.

Virginia enjoyed many pastimes, some of which included reading her Bible. She was an amazing artist. She enjoyed many arts and crafts. She loved getting little notes from her grandchildren, and always had candy or snacks to give them. Virginia loved most animals, once she even stopped her car to help a turtle, that hissed at her.

Virginia is preceded in death by her Father Manuel Powell Sr., Grandmother and an aunt.

Virginia is survived in death by her Mother Susan DuBois of Saucier Ms., Her son Michael Fenton (Carmen) of Wiggins Ms., Daughter Erica Fenton of Wiggins Ms. Four grandchildren. Michael and Megan Fenton. Ethan Durham and Evan Fenton. One step-grandson, and a step- great grandson.  Her two brothers Manuel and Gerald Powell, and her sister Rhonda Powell. As well as nieces and nephews, and Great nieces and nephews.
