Virginia Freeman Brown, age 91, departed this life the December 8, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a lifelong member of Handsboro Baptist Church in Gulfport.
She is survived by her children, Wayne Freeman and wife Judy, Terry Freeman and wife Karen, Beth Cochran and husband Jim, Carol McCormick and husband James, to whom she was a wonderful and loving mother who will be deeply missed. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Edward Freeman and grandson, Brent Freeman Stiritz.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012, at 10:00am at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
