Virginia Cathleen Breland, age 51, passed away on October 10, 2024. Born in Gulfport, she was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast until recently moving to Jackson, MS.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara “Kay” Young Breland; grandparents, (Paternal) George Hubert Breland and Virginia Estelle Breland, (Maternal) Margie Young Wilson and Johnny L. Young; brothers, William Cameron Breland, Robert Lee Breland, Trenton Havens; sisters, Sherri Ann Young, Tonya Jean Pucheu; brother-in-law, Timothy Joseph Fick; beloved cousins, April Patterson, Jake Scchorghofer and Jay Bond; niece, Tannielle Pucheu; step-father, Roy Thomas Switzer; and step-mom, Debbie Switzer Tato.
Survivors include father, William Chester Breland; step-mother, Christine Patton Miller; life partner, Chad Crain Sr.; her children, Kayla Moran(Jackson), Kayle Crain, Chad Crain, Jr.; two grandchildren that she loved with every fiber of her being, Raelee Don Crain and Raedon Daryl Crain; brothers, William Chester Breland, Jr., Don Breland (Rhonda), Joseph Duval (Heather), Gerald Smith (Anita), Jarman Havens; sisters, Mandie Breland McMahan, Angela Breland, Jessica Fick, Haylee Jernigan; sister- in- Law; Corrinnia (Andy) Hostetter; beloved brother-in-law (aka, “My Husband”), Darwin McMahan; nieces and nephews, Brenda Kay McMahan(Dewayne), Elizabeth McMahan, Lyndsey McMahan(Erin), Russell Breland, J.D. McMahan, Christopher Breland(Sara), Devin Breland, Madison Huber; Serena Ann Kerns(Corrie), Devin Ladner(Blake), Rebecca Webb, Ryleigh Webb, Rosie Fick, Haleigh Adams, Skyler Breland, Jessica McLamore, Kameron Coots, Kadence Breland; best friend (aka, “Wifey”), Christy Rester; god-child(aka,“Tootles”), Dylana; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
On Friday, October 18th 2024 visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. with funeral services starting at 3:00 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeIisle Rd. Pass Christian, MS. Interment will follow at St. Joseph at Rotten Bayou Cemetery, Kapalama Drive, Diamondhead, MS.
