Virgil Alan Barker, Jr., age 85, of Saucier, passed away on June 6, 2011, in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Barker; a daughter, Patricia Moon; his parents, and a brother.
He is survived by his children, Larry Barker and family of St. Augustine, FL, Eric Barker of Columbus, OH, and Scott Barker and family of Saucier; and five brothers.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011, at Noon in the funeral home chapel.
Burial with military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
