Mrs. Viola M. Roemisch, age 91, resident of Long Beach, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Roemisch was born in Yorktown, TX, to Willie and Cora Metting Lamprecht, where she and her siblings worked with their parents on the family's farm. She moved to the Coast in 1994, and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Family and friends will remember her for her love of gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Roemisch; son, James H. Roemisch; parents; and 9 siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Virgie Dannheim of Gulfport; brother, Willie Lamprecht of TX; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several step great-grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach, from 4:30 pm until the Funeral Service at 6:30 pm.
