Viola Abbott

Viola Abbott, 93, passed away on December 25, at 9:30 a.m. at the home of her son. She was a native of Harrison County and was born and raised in the Lizana Community. She was employed at the Mac Smith Garment Company, Gulfport and Movie Star Company in Pass Christian, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyal Abbott, of forty two years and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son; Francis """"White"""" Moran; her stepdaughters, Pat McGellan of the Houston, Alabama community and Mrs. Sharon Cagle and husband, Steve Cagle of Double Springs, Alabama community; nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Quality Hospice and nurse, Lorraine Quandt and others that assisted in the care of Mrs. Abbott.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church on Highway 53, Lizana Community. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. and celebrated by Father Pete Mockler. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery, Lizana. Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
