Mrs. Vini Lee Creed Schallowitz, age 65, passed away on her birthday, November 7, 2009.
Mrs. Schallowitz was a lifelong resident of Gulfport. She retired from the Head Start program and enjoyed dancing and fishing. She formerly attended Grace Chapel Church and Temple Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Schallowitz; parents, Selvyn and Vittie Saucier Creed; brother, Ronnie Creed.
She is survived by her children, Wayde Schallowitz and Tonia Anderson, of New Jersey; sister, Ann Webster of NC; brothers Robert Creed of Gulfport, Lawrence Creed of Biloxi, James and Larry Creed of NC; and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road, at 10 a.m., where friends may visit one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.
