Vida Ladner

Vida Lea Ladner, age 89, of Long Beach, MS, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 in Long Beach.

Mrs. Ladner was preceded in death by her father, Edward Alexander Saucier; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Saucier; her husband, Thomas Hayward Ladner, Sr.; and her brother, Clarence Cecil Saucier.

Survivors include her children, Judith Ann Reyer (Alfred), Thomas Hayward Ladner, Jr., Paul Bruce Ladner, Harold Thomas Ladner, Sr., and Rodger Keith Ladner (Kim); her brother, Willis Robert Saucier (Barbara); her grandchildren, Tina Louise Collins, Brian David Lassabe (Tammi), Chip David Lassabe (Jodie), Tonya Velenia Clendenon (Jamison), Alicen Danielle Balius (Jay), Regina Michelle Ladner, Harold Thomas Ladner, Jr. and Christian Lee Ladner; her great-grandchildren, William Ray Davenport (Sianna), Tiffany Ann Bergeron, Brandon Clyde Lassabe, Jonathan Forest Clendenon, Waylon Keegler Clendenon and Miracle Makayla Lassabe; her great-great-grandchildren, Whitney Ray Davenport, Cody Ray Davenport, William Gavin Davenport, Gabriel Eugene Davenport, Bella Sha Davenport, Judith Louise Lea Smith, Gerald Arthur Bergeron, and Johnny Russel Young; and great-great-great-grandchild, Jaylen Rose McKinney.

Mrs. Ladner was a native of Pass Christian and a long-time resident of Long Beach. She attended school in Pass Christian and Delisle and was self-employed. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics and painting; and was of the Catholic faith.

Friends are invited to join the family for services and visitation on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.  The Prayer Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Mike Austin.

Interment will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
