Victoria Lee Hutcherson

Victoria Lee Hutcherson, age 13, of Saucier, MS, passed away suddenly on the morning of March 14, 2024.

Victoria was born in Metairie, Louisiana on September 16, 2010, to Vickie Lynn “Wedgeworth” Hutcherson. Victoria was an honor roll student at West Wortham Middle School. She loved art, and produced pieces such as "Beautiful Me", "As Beautiful as a Rose", and "Happy 25th Birthday West Wortham", Roblox, and Five Nights of Freddy were a couple of her favorites. She enjoyed drawing and reading in her free time. She loved video games, TikTok, and YouTube. She shared aspirations of attending Harvard to be a lawyer upon graduation the night before she passed.

Victoria was preceded in death by her grandmother, Genny Kay Tate Wedgeworth; her grandfather, Larry Ernest Wedgeworth; and her brother, Larry Wayne Hart.

Victoria is survived by her parents, Vickie Lynn Wedgeworth and Robert Matula; her sister, Gracelynn Vick; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Victoria has a large family that loves and misses her dearly. She spent many days on her grandmother’s farm riding the lawnmower through the pines playing with cousins. She loved animals and had a snarky sense of humor. She relished being a sister to her siblings and was very protective of them. She was the “Momma” of all her little cousins and loved them dearly as well. Victoria was the sweetest little girl, a beautiful soul, and valued her education and worried regularly about her grades. She was a light to her family and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 12:00-2:00 PM, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Larry E. Wedgeworth Family Cemetery, Saucier, MS. Pallbearers will be Robert Matula, John Stockey, Andy Williams, Billy Sam Wedgeworth, Chad Wedgeworth, James Kneiss, Casey Clouse, and Neil Polk.
