Victor E. """"Barney"""" Mitchell, age 89, died Monday, December 31, 2007 at Dunbar Village in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Mitchell was born in Spotsylvania, Virginia. He was a retired diesel mechanic and long time resident of coastal Mississippi and Louisiana.
Mr. Mitchell is survived by his sons, John Mitchell of Diamondhead, MS, Vincent Mitchell, of Saucier, MS, Vic Mitchell of Morgan City, LA, Eugene Mitchell of Gulfport, MS, and Tommy Mitchell of Gulfport; daughter, Loraine Davenport of Valley, NE; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as one brother, Daniel Mitchell, and other family and relations in and around Fredericksburg, VA. May he rest in peace.
Gulf Coast Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle, Pass Christian is in charge of arrangements. Private services at a later date.
