Vickie Jan Delancey, age 47, died on July 26, 2009 in her sleep from heart failure. She had not suffered from any illness but it was her time to go.
She was a homebody person, loving gardening, yard work and Cameron her little grandson, as she called him. He reminded her much of her own late beloved son Aaron John.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jake and Dollie Bell, two children, Ashley Belle Delancey and Aaron John Delancey, two brothers, John Bell and Andy Bell
She leaves behind a husband, Alton Ray Delancey, sister, Ashley Ritchie, nieces, nephews and cousins. One favorite being Donald Saucier a close friend also and a young lady Brittney Lanning that was dear and good to Vickie and like a daughter and for whom she loved very much.
The visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS.. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Delancey Family Cemetery in Gulfport.
