Vicki Taber

On October 11, 2018 our dear Vicki went home to be with the Lord, after a short battle with Cancer. She was born Sept. 24, 1956 in Bay Minette, AL to Thomas E Helton and Margaret Reid Helton.
Vicki was an active member of Saint Paul's United Methodist Church downtown campus in Ocean Springs, MS. She loved quilting and was a member of the Busy Bee and Sand Stitchers quilting quilds. She participated in the McDonald's coffee clutch and enjoyed their weekly meetings.
Vicki is survived by her husband of 41 years, Patrick Taber, USN Ret; her children, Ben Taber (Liana Heifner Taber) of Lakenheath, England, and Sarah Taber of Milton, Fl; her beloved grandsons, Dylan Broxton, Aidan Tabor, and Owen Taber; her mother, Margaret Jean Helton of Milton, Fl; her sisters, Deborah Jakob (Eric) of Deland, FL, and Lynn Helton of Milton, FL; and her brother, Thomas E Helton, Jr (Solon) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
She was predeceased by her father, Thomas E. Helton.
She and her husband were stationed around the U.S., while Patrick served in the Navy, and she will be missed by friends and family from around the world.
Her celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018, at 2:20 PM, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church downtown campus, 800 Porter Ave., Ocean Springs, MS 39564.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society and/or St. Joseph's Hospice.
