Vicki Ann Reed Mitchell, age 54, of Pace, Florida, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009 in Mobile, Alabama.
Vicki was born in the Philippines, grew up in Long Beach, Mississippi and had been a resident of Pace, Florida for the past 18 years. She graduated from Long Beach High School in 1975 and from USM with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. For 22 years she was a Special Education teacher in Mississippi and Florida.
She was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Milton, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Mitchell; father, Harold Reed; mother, Josephine Reed; and sister, Denise Blake.
Survivors include her 3 children, Jamie Eli Mitchell (Vasty), Nicholas Joseph Mitchell, and Courtney Lynn Brooks (Justin); sisters, Lori Schivers & Emma Howard; brother, Darold Reed; and 3 grandchildren, Jaidyn & Vanessa Mitchell and Reese Brooks.

The Memorial Service will be held 11:00am on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
