Vicki Kay Birdwell

Vicki Kay Birdwell, age 55, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011.
Vicki was a Registered Nurse who was dedicated and compassionate for her patients. She was a member of the Nurses Assocation. She was an activist for the homeless and needy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dean Birdwell; and her step-father, Ernest Raymond Craig. Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany N. Simmons (fiance, Robert); son, Stephen M. Clark; mother, Roberta M. Lundquist; two sisters, Holly M. Hill (Lewis) and Debbie Hendricks (Tim); brother, Greg Ariss (Linda); two grandchildren and looking forward to a granddaughter in April; and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com.
