Vesta Phelps Cliburn, age 80, of Gulfport passed away March 13, 2012 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom H. Cliburn, Sr.; daughter, Bonnie Andersen; parents, Rev. Braxton Phelps and Myrtle Phelps; and siblings, Freddie Enroth, Dorothy Bigot, Gaynell Ealy, Elaine Phelps, and Carl Phelps.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Hancock (Thomas), Lonnie Benefield (Steve), Beulah Marks (Larry), Rebecca Albrecht, Tom Cliburn, Jr. (Barbara), and Vesta Wentworth (Donnie); siblings, Terry Phelps (Janice) and Rodney Phelps (Carol); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 to 1:00 pm, Friday, March 16, 2012 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. David Fitch officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
