Mr. Vernon Wallace Wilson, age 75, resident of Biloxi, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
Mr. Wilson was born to Clyde and Ethel Wilson in Old Town, MD. He served in the United States Air Force for 26 years before retiring as a MSgt. His military career included missions to Korea and Vietnam. After his military career, Mr. Wilson worked at Keesler Air Force Base as a Warehouse Manager and retired in 2004. He was an avid baseball fan, keeping up with the grandchildren and their friends. His favorite hobby was playing black jack with his son and best friend, Billy. He will be remembered for his devotion to country and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Eula Patricia Wilson; his daughter, Tina Wilson; his parents; and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children, Malinda Colerick (Tom) of Biloxi, and Vernon ""Billy"" Wilson (Angie) of Biloxi; grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Nicholas, Craig, and Mikayla; his sister, Bernice Phillips of PA; and his brother in law, John Lee Rominger.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, where friends may visit from 9:30-11 a.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial with full military honors will be at Biloxi City Cemetery.
