The earth lost a loving and vivacious spirit, Verdlee Shiyou Bilbo Kilinar, on April 14, 2010 at Dunbar Village in Bay St. Louis.
She was a life long resident of Hancock County. She was born in the Kiln on November 27, 1919, and moved to Bay St. Louis in 1954 where she raised her family and lived the remainder of her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her adult children, Geraldine B. Stolz (Thomas), Jewel B. Lively (Kenny), Larry Bilbo, BJ Bilbo, Karen B. Olson (Danny), Elzie Bilbo (Maria); sister, Zillyann Shiyou; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and 13 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Bilbo, and Clements Kilianar; parents, Rayford and Mary Shiyou; sisters, Velma Shiyou and Lena Ladner; brothers, Walter, Manuel, Orvis, George and Herbert Shiyou, and 7 nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Annunciation Catholic Church in the Kiln, at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until Mass.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Kiln DeLisle Rd, Pass Christian, is in charge of arrangements.
