Verda Crabtree

Verda Saucier Crabtree of Saucier, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2021 at her residence in Saucier. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and was born May 5, 1927 in Saucier.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey R. Crabtree, Sr.; her parents, Leonard and Lillian Saucier; 3 brothers, Alton Saucier, Melton Saucier, and J.L. Saucier; 3 sisters, Inez Greene, Ina Bruder, and Annie Mae Hohenbrink.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Wood (Darrell); 3 sons, Harvey R. Crabtree, Jr. (Kris), Michael Crabtree, and David Crabtree (Mary); sister, Leolia West (Sam West) ; brothers, Floyd Saucier (Edith); 6 grandchildren, Sarah Walker, Ricky Crabtree, Troy Crabtree, Chantelle Harper, Chad Wood, and Angela Wood; 5 great-grandchildren, Emily Harper, Remington Wood, Haley Wood, Alyssa Walker and Emily Wood.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at St Ann Catholic Church, 23529 MS-53, Gulfport, MS. A burial will follow the mass at Live Oak cemetery on 19317 Borzik Road in Saucier, MS.
