Vera Ramsey, 73, of Kiln, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Gene Ramsey; step daughter, Rebecca Ramesy; step son, Gary Ramsey; and son in law, Kenneth Stockstill.
She is survived by her children, Cecil Pittman, Jr., Gladys Willard, Bryan Pittman, and Fran Stockstill; her step children, Henry Ramsey and Caren Johnson; her three siblings, Roy Madere, Patricia Dempsey, and Priscilla Nuccio; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 3 to 6 pm at VFW Post 6285 Kiln, MS. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 6 pm at VFW Post 6285.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to any Peoples Bank branch in the name of Vera Ramsey.
