Velma Hall

Velma Moran Hall, age 94, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Hall was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Gulfport, where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was also a member of the VFW Auxilary.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Hall; her parents, Alphonse Moran and Flora Pavolini Moran; her sisters, Viola Hanrahan and Mamie McDonald; and her brothers, Elmer Moran, Hershey Moran, and Floyd Moran.
She is survived by her four nieces, Ellen Hanrahan Palmer of Gulfport, Mary Catherine McDonald Hansen of Wellington, FL, Joann Moran Patton of Stone County, MS, and Linda McDonald Stuart of Pensacola, FL; and numerous cousins.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Gulfport, at 1:00 PM with visitation from Noon until mass. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
