Valerie Touchstone

Valerie Touchstone, age 64, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Pearl Stewart; her sister, Exalee Stewart; her brother, Terry Stewart; her grandparents, Charlie and Arlena Stewart and Jasper and Terry Mullins; and her granddaughter, Valerie Destiny Raquel Zirger “Chicken”

Valerie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Wyatt Touchstone; her children, Wayne Touchstone (Angela), and Exalee Touchstone; her siblings, Paula Saylor (Donnie) and Jerry Stewart; her grandchildren, Paula Zirger, Jade Zirger, Breanne Zirger, Jasmine Touchstone, Valerie J. Touchstone, and Riley Touchstone; her great grandchild, Winston Slawson ; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many more loved ones.

Valerie is a native of Clawson Michigan and born in Highland Park Michigan, she came to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and worked at the Grand Casino. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved family and enjoyed family time. Valerie was also a hardworking provider for her family and was an upbeat happy person, willing to help anyone. She loved playing at the casino, watching crime shows, and cooking, she always cooked with love (as she would say). She was always there if you needed to talk to someone with wisdom and advice. Her family is left with many, many good memories and stories.
