Valerian Michele Clark

Valerian Michele Brown Clark, born February 3, 1960, and a resident of Pass Christian and Hattiesburg, passed away on July 8, 2011.
Michele was preceded in death by her two daughters, Katlyn Valerian Clark and Alicia Saunders Clark; and her parents, Valerian Toca Brown and Cecil O. Brown.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. John Saunders Clark of Pass Christian and Hattiesburg; a step daughter, Lauren Clark of Pass Christian, MS; a sister, Kimberly Brown Shaw of Diamondhead, MS; two brothers, Michael J. Brown and his wife, Marsha, of Pass Christian, MS and Vernon Brown of Pass Christian, MS.
Michele was a dedicated mother and wife. She was an active Catholic, both on the Gulf Coast and in Hattiesburg. An avid tennis player, she was a wonderful cook and she enjoyed gardening and crafts projects. She was a committed caregiver and worked with the Abbie Rogers Civitan Camp in Hattiesburg.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 1:00 PM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Long Beach with visitation from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery, Pass Christian.
