Ursula Murphy, age 73 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Sunday, June 20, 2010, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Murphy was a resident of Gulfport for the past 40 years. She was a member of the German Club in Mobile, AL. She was a loyal and caring person who loved her family and friends and always had a smile on her face.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Margareta Erfurth; her husband, William C. Murphy; her daughter, Patty James and her grandson, Cody William Heflin.
Mrs. Murphy is survived by her daughter, Tammy (James) Jerkins of Gulfport; her sister, Stephanie Erfurth and her brother, Victor (Eva) Erfurth and their son, Carson, all of Berlin, Germany; her granddaughter, Natasha (David) Rogers of Diamondhead; her grandsons, John Michael Heflin and Taylor Pope; her great grandchildren, Haley James and Mason James and her life companion, Joachim Schwanz.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
