Kenneth Tyler Payne, age 30 of D'Iberville, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019.
There are no words that justly describe who Tyler was and what he meant to those who knew and loved him. He was a son, grandson, husband, and friend, but his favorite title was father. He was always ready to help anyone in need. His laugh was contagious and could be heard for miles. He always had a smile on his face no matter the situation.
Tyler is the son of Kendra Clegg, Ken Payne, Thomas Clegg, and Carol Payne. He is the oldest brother of four siblings: Hayden, Alyssa, Cooper, and Cara.
Tyler received his Associate of Science with a focus in athletic training from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. After graduation, he was accepted into EMT school. He worked hard to support his family that he loved dearly.
His hobbies included playing video games, reading novels, being a Free Mason, and spending quality time with his children.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Lavern Payne; his great grandparents, Frank and Verta Mae Miller, Glenn K. Evans, and Jack and Evelyn Dickens.
Tyler is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Heather Payne; his children, Vivienne Kathleen Payne and Kenneth Asa Payne; his parents, Kendra and Thomas Clegg, Ken and Carol Payne; his grandparents, Patsy and Gabe Dickens, Thomas and Diana Clegg, and Bruce and Kathy White; his siblings, Hayden and Brittney Clegg, Alyssa and Nathan Carraso, Cooper Payne, and Cara Payne; his uncles, Eric (Shannon) Payne, Kevin Evans and Keith Evans; his aunt, Rhonda Cauley; his mother and father in-law, Terry and Mark Henson; and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in honor of Tyler to the Wounded Warrior Project. Donations may be made at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
