Tommy Ray Garriga, Sr., age 76 of Gulfport, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Asa Joseph Garriga, Sr. and Beatrice Ladner Garriga; and eleven siblings.
Tommy is survived by his children, Tommy (Tracy) Garriga, Jr., Barbara Garriga, Jennifer Garriga and Ryan Garriga; a sister, Aledia Gayle Burron; grandchildren, Lindsay Garriga Bruggeman, Jake Garriga, Myles Gentry and Lily Garriga; and lifelong friend/companion, Hilda Mitchell.
Tommy was retired from Gulfport Fire Department and loved sports. He was a huge Manning family fan, beginning with Archie. He was a youth basketball and baseball coach, and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed bowling and John Wayne westerns, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was a kind man who always put others first. He truly enjoyed life and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, with a visitation for family and friends from 10:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow in Alphonse Malley Cemetery.
