Toki Gonzalez

Toki Gonzalez, a native of Japan, and longtime resident of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her father Yoshio Shimizu; and her mother, Miyo Shimizu.

Toki is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Alberto N. Gonzalez; her daughter, Karen Pringle and her husband Eric; and her son Alberto Gonzalez; two brothers, Hiroshi Shimizu and Satoru Shimizu; and one sister, Nakako Kinoshita; three grandchildren, Sabrina Gonzalez, Kristen Gonzalez and Savannah Robertson. Those that survive her will miss her dearly every day.

A private family visitation will be held to honor Toki’s life, and she will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport, MS.
