Toby Joseph Dombrowski

September 12, 1931 — January 20, 2011

Mr. Toby Joseph Dombrowski, age 79 and a resident of Gulfport, died Thursday, January 20, 2011 in Gulfport.
Mr. Dombrowski was born in Steubenville, Ohio on September 12, 1931. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1947, serving his country during the Korean War, and he retired in 1968. He also retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1986, after 37 years of federal service.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. James Catholic Church
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Helena Dombrowski of Poland.
He is survived by Emma Jean Oglesbee Dombrowski, his wife of 58 years; three sons, Toby Dombrowski, Andrew Paul Dombrowski, and Ricky Dombrowski; grandchildren: Derek and Danielle Dombrowski, and Trey, Ryan, Garrett and Reed Dombrowski; and his sister, Genevive Saporita of California.
The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the service. His grandchildren will be pall bearers. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Knights of Columbus at St. James Catholic Church, 366 Cowan Lorraine Road, Gulfport, MS, 39507, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org.
