Tina Marie Leonard

Tina Marie Leonard, a loving wife, sister, aunt and a devoted restaurant chef whose culinary skills graced the Gulf Coast over the years.  

Tina was born on January 15, 1958, in Biloxi, MS, and passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 22, 2024, in Ocean Springs, MS.

Tina's passion for cooking was evident in every dish she prepared, bringing joy to countless patrons throughout her career, beginning with Mary's Drive Inn where she worked for over 30 years, and followed by her 7 years at McElroy's. Her journey began where she attended Biloxi High School.

Beyond the kitchen, Tina found solace in simple pleasures such as cheering for the New Orleans Saints and engaging in online Bingo and canasta games. She cherished moments spent connecting with loved ones on social media and exploring the vast world of YouTube videos.

Tina is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved parents, Oswald J. Frentz Sr. and Inez R. Frentz; her sister and brother-in law Denise E. and George H. Adams Jr.; and her nephew David L. Sloan II. 

She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by her surviving family and friends. 

Among those mourning her loss are her devoted husband of 39 years, Jesse J. Leonard; her daughter Raven (fiancé Nicholas Bates) Leonard; her brother Richard (Darlene) Frentz Sr.; her brother Oswald (Jackie) Frentz Jr.; her nieces, Dana M. Sloan, Cherie (Curtis) Adams, Tish (Shane) Lovell, Ursula (Bob) Knight, Anastasia (Brian) Elly, Kristy (James) Harvey; nephews, Jason Leonard, Marc (Marie) Frentz, Richard Frentz, Jr. (Jennifer), Daniel Frentz, Alexander Frentz, Dallas Frentz; as well as her great nephews and nieces, other extended family members, and her childhood friend, Robin Boney.

Tina Marie Leonard's compassionate spirit and culinary talent will be dearly missed but forever remembered by those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy lives on through the love she shared with all who knew her.

"To live in the hearts of those we love is not to die".  Tina lives on in our hearts and memories, she will live forever.  

A visitation and gathering celebration for Tina will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, Biloxi - West Jackson, from 2:00-4:00 PM.
