Tim Shavers, age 45 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Saturday, November 27, 2010, in Long Beach.
Tim was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He was a longtime employee with Riemann Family Funeral Homes and Floral Hills Cemetery as a Cemetery Maintenance Supervisor. He had been employed for the past four years with Blessey Marine Services in Harahan, LA.
Tim is survived by his parents, Henry & Shirley Shavers of Saucier; his sisters, Shirley (Paul) Lord and Cynthia (Melvin) Hickman of Saucier; his brothers, Allen (Robin) Shavers of Russellville, Arkansas, Bryan (Denise) Shavers of Saucier, Mike (Christine) Shavers of Hancock County, and Steve (Patty) Shavers of Saucier.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rouse Cemetery in Saucier.
