Thomas P. Hill, Jr., age 76, resident of Diamondhead, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, May 26, 2010.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He graduated from Louisiana State University, and he retired from Lockheed Martin as a financial analyst.
He loved his church, his country, his family, and his friends locally and throughout the country. He was an avid LSU Sport Fan.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Toye Hill; and his brother, James McLendon.
He is survived by his mother, Pat Arboneaux; his wife, Rose Hill; six children, Pamela Gremillion, Thomas Hill, Dawn Karchner (Dennis), Robyn Smith (Kenny), Craig Hill (Jan), and Caryn Romero (Luis); two step children, Alisa Meli and Derek Goff (Gina); and ten grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 11 am at St. Williams Catholic Church, 9600 Edwin Ladner Rd, Pass Christian. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until service time at the church.
A private family graveside will take place at Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to St. Williams Building Fund, 25220 St. Stephens Rd, Pass Christian, MS 39571.
