Thomas Drake

Thomas “Bubby” Patrick Drake age 27, born April 19,1993, a native of Columbus, Ohio and a resident of Pass Christian, MS passed away on February 10, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Paul Drake; and his grandfathers, Thomas Glen Drake and James Rittgers.
Bubby is survived by his mother, Pamela (Lee) Dowell of Columbus, Ohio; his grandmothers, Norene Benson and Elaine Rittgers; grandfather, Pat Mcloughlin; his sister and protector, Amy Drake- Galatas and her husband Richard who was like a brother to Bubby, his sister Ashley Drake, and his brother, Johnathon “Mike” Drake; his four nephews, Jordan Drake, Ross Walker, Elijah Drake and Rowan Walker; his niece, Raelynn Walker; and his three best friends, Trevar Napier, Ronnie Ward, and Rene Dantzler; his beloved pittbull, “Buckeye”; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He graduated in 2007 from Whitehall Yearling High School where he played football and baseball, but was a lover of all sports. He went on to attend the University of South Alabama for a year and was employed at Bacchus on the Beach in Pass Christian. Bubby was an avid Ohio State fan.  He will be remembered as being decked out in Scarlet and Grey just about everyday of the week.  He loved his family more than anything else in this world.  He believed family came first.  To know him was to love him.  He was a kind caring and compassionate man. He would have given anyone the shirt off of his back if they were in need.
A memorial service to honor Bubby will be announced once final arrangements have been completed.
