Thomas Jefferson Chambers IV, 72, of Gulfport, passed away on September 3, 2021.
Mr. Chambers was born on August 13, 1949 in Biloxi and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He started out his career at Chambers Garage in Gulfport before joining F.E.B. Distributing as Fleet Manager. Mr. Chambers was always on the go. He was very involved in the Highlands and Islands Scottish Festival and Cruisin' the Coast. He had a passion for cars and racing, loved being outdoors, and will be remembered as a 'Master Piddler.' He loved traveling and fishing.
Thomas is survived by his two daughters, Teresa M. Chambers of Gulfport, MS, and Laura C. Crisp (Kate Crisp) of Liberty Hill, TX; his grandchildren, Asa Crisp and Michael Magee II; and his longtime companion, Becky Korpita.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jefferson Chambers, III and Dorothy Donnelly Chambers.
Visitation will be held at Riemann Family Funeral Homes, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 9:00-11:00 am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach, with honors rendered by the USAF Honor Guard. Mask will be required at this service at the request of the family.
