Thomas Martin Carr, age 21 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Saturday, December 29, 2007 in Gulfport.
Thomas was a lifelong resident of Long Beach and was a 2005 graduate of Lapeer East High School in Lapeer, MI. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and he loved to fish, play baseball and play the drums.
Thomas is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Jessie Edith Travirca and his maternal grandmother, Katie Giuffria.
He is survived by his loving parents, Waymon Carr of Long Beach and Cathy Ayala and his stepfather, Richard Ayala of Lapeer, MI, his brother, Barry Touart of Clearwater, FL; his sisters, Sandy Carr of Lapeer, MI and Julie Brian and his brother-in-law Johnny Brian of Slidell, LA; his maternal grandfather, Joseph Giuffria of Long Beach; his nephews, Mark & Matthew Wayne and many other loving family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 31, 2007 at 2:00pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 5557 Daughtery Road in Long Beach, where friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Long Beach City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Benefit Fund for Levi Joseph Krystosek at any branch of Hancock Bank.
