Mr. Theodore """"Ted"""" R. Waltman, 91 years of age went to his Heavenly Home Friday, March 26, 2010.
He was an active member of Long Beach Missionary Baptist Church of Long Beach, MS for over 35 years.
Mr. Waltman was in the Armed Forces and retired from civil service. He also done some lawn care work. He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Inez Waltman, parents: Sylvester and Amanda Waltman, 3 sisters: Mary Jane Shoemaker, Grace Carroll, Elizabeth Denais, and 4 brothers: Victor Waltman, Thomas Waltman, Earl Waltman, and Edward Waltman.
Mr. Waltman is survived by his children: Charles Wayne Waltman and his wife Georgia of Wiggins, MS, Prentiss Waltman and his wife Wanda of Old Appleton, Missouri, Teddy Waltman of Gulfport, MS, one stepson Roland Bond and his wife Pat of Long Beach, MS, two grandgchildren: Lisa Dickens of Wiggins, MS and Charles Waltman, Jr. of Wiggins, MS two step grandchildren: Kelly Homrich of Thompson Station, TN and Buddy Bond of Long Beach, MS, three great-grandchildren: Hunter Waltman, Xander Waltman, and Cadence Dickens, two sisters: Ester Cooley and Naomi Rhodes, two brothers: Lorenzo Waltman and George Waltman and numerous other step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the Patriarch of four generations.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, March 29, 2010 at 2 pm RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach. Family and Friends are invited to visit from 1 pm until service time.
Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach.
