MSgt Theodore "Ted" Thomas age 75, a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast, passed away on June 18, 2019 in his Biloxi home surrounded by his loving wife of 39 years love.
He was born August 5, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York to Charles R. and Winifred Taylor Thomas, who have preceded him in death; he was also preceded in death by two loving grandchildren Erin Michael Thomas, and Paige Bradford Thomas.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Donna Mosher Thomas; his children, Kenneth Scott Thomas, Denise Thomas Lang (Victor), and Faye Thomas Simmons (Craig); A Goddaughter, Victoria Hilton Palmer; and was the Best "Papa" Ever, to his five grandchildren, Cameron Dick, Emily Dick, Isabella Dick, Sawyer Kate Simmons and Amber May; and his five great-grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel, Ahiah, Jaiyden and Gracie.
MSgt Thomas joined the US Air Force as a Missal- man and later switched to an Air Traffic Controller, in 1987 he retired from the USAF with that job title. He proudly served our country in the Vietnam War in 1967 and 1968. Ted had a great love for sailing and was a Past Commodore of Long Beach, MS., a member of the local VFW, AMVETS and the Mississippi Coast Mustang Club. He loved going on cruises, spending time with his family and lived a full and loved filled life. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. with visitation for family and friends from 12:30 p.m. until the service begins at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. A procession to Biloxi National Cemetery, where full military honors will be presented will follow service.
