Theodore C. "Ted" Morel, 89, of Kiln, Mississippi passed away July 10, 2019, in
Kiln, Mississippi.
Ted was of the Catholic Faith and retired from Haliburton (Brown and Root). He was a native of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Necaise Morel; his brothers, Alton, Raymond, and Pete; and his sister, Linda Fayard.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey; his sister, Rita M. Martin; his granddaughter, Kristin Morel Poyadou (Rodney); his great granddaughters, McKenzie and Leighton Stallings; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be at Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln, Mississippi on Monday, July 15, from 9:00 AM until 10 AM for family, and 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM for friends, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at noon. Entombment at Bayou CoCo Cemetery in Kiln, Mississippi will follow at 1:00 PM.
