Thelma Dambrino Parnell

Thelma Dambrino Parnell, 89, of Gulfport, went to be with her Lord and joined her husband in heaven on Thursday, August 9, 2012.
Mrs. Parnell was a life-long member of Handsboro United Methodist Church. She loved her family dearly and her family loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Reginald A. Parnell; her mother, Gladys Marie Stafford Dambrino; her father, John S. Dambrino; and her sister, Florence Nelms.
She is survived by her three children, Regina Parnell Mathison and her husband Keith Mathison of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Tommy Parnell and his wife Rebecca Maxey Parnell of Pinehurst, Texas, and Russell Parnell of Gulfport; three grandchildren, Sarah Parnell Wade and her husband Richard Wade & their daughter Remington Faye Wade, Sam Parnell and Savannah Parnell, all of Texas; her sister Ivan Eley of Gulfport; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. in Gulfport, with the Funeral Service following at 12 Noon. Burial will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
