Thelma Adams

Dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Thelma "Louise" Adams at the age of 90 years old passed away into God's hands on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, surrounded by love and family.
Louise was born February 7, 1927, in Biloxi, Mississippi to E.W. "Chilli" Griffin and Maudie Atwell Griffin. In 1945, she married Clyde O. Adams and they shared 60 years together. They had two daughters Frances L. Good and Peggy L. Adams. Louise was devoted to family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances L. Good (Gerald L. Good, III); grandchildren, Kelly R. Briscoe, William S. Briscoe, O'Neil J. Adams (Amber M. Adams) and Richard C. Moreta; great grandchildren, Walton H. Mallette, William M. Mallette, Donovan H. Briscoe, Mason B. Adams, Melana E. Adams and Madison G. Lockwood.
She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Clyde O. Adams; daughter, Peggy L. Adams; parents, E.W. "Chilli" Griffin and Maudie Atwell Griffin; and her brother, Ernest William "Buck" Griffin, Jr.
The family wishes to thank Greenbriar Nursing Center and Kindred Hospice for all the care and love she received in her final days.
A visitation will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi, MS.
Burial will be on Monday, May 15, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Avenue, in Biloxi, MS.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of South Mississippi.
