Thaddeus Ross Brady

T. R. Brady, age 74, was born January 30, 1941 and passed away February 21, 2015.
You probably didn't know him as Thaddeus Ross. But if you knew him as Jimmy, T. R., Brady, Dr. Brady, Care Taker, or Dummy, you had to love him.
An almost lifelong resident of the gulf coast, T. R. graduated from Gulfport High School, University of Southern Miss (KA parties notwithstanding) and Hermann Memorial Physical Therapy School. He was primarily a physical therapist, but had a never-ending spirit for entrepreneurialism. He served in the Army National Guard. He was a Catholic.
Some of his lifelong passions and accomplishments include fisherman, boater, camper, lover of nature, master cook, dog lover, member Gulfport Yacht Club, and corner bar owner, as well as car wash and motel magnet.
A friend to everyone, T. R. (and Melinda) always opened their home to family, friends, and strangers who needed a bed for the night or a home for months.
Another departed friend had said ""He who dies with the most toys wins"". Paraphrasing, ""He who dies with the most Friends wins"". T. R. Wins. He was a Master and Teacher of enjoying life.
T. R. was preceded in death by his parents, T. R., Sr. and Virginia Bryant Brady. He is survived by his patient and loving wife of 23 years, Melinda Brady, two daughters Jill Renee Brady and Jan Brady Watt, sister, Sandy (Rodney) Gullo, step-son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Angela Mauldin, cousin, Denny Jordan, as well as many other unrelated brothers and sisters.

A visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport at 9:00 a.m., the funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
