Terresa Huggins

Terresa Bratton Huggins, age 61, passed away on January 11, 2022,  in New Orleans, LA.

She was born in Gulfport, MS, was a native of the MS Gulf Coast,  and a  resident of Westwego, LA.

Terresa was the Administrative Assistant at the at the Grand Casino from 1999-2005.. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, as well as her family and friends. Terresa will be remembered for her heart of gold. She took in many people over the years and believed that all were always welcome. She had such a big heart and much love to share.

Terresa leaves behind her 2 children, Jessica Naquin of Westwego, LA, and Brian Huggins (Cindy)of Northport; AL, three grandchildren, Isabella and Lillian Naquin and Lucy Huggins; her siblings, Cabrini Cadrecha, Donald D. Bratton, Jr (Pam), Melanie Gregory (Mathieu), and Brian J. Bratton (Teresa); her companion David Lefort; her ex husband, Robert W. Huggins; many nieces and nephews; and a great godchild, Kamila Melancon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dale and Mary Bratton, Sr.; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Clara Benvenutti, Dale Bratton and Beryl Harris; her granddaughter, Ava Marie Naquin and her son-in-law, Brandon Ray Naquin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Pass Christian, with a visitation from 10:30 AM until the mass.  Interment will follow at St. Paul Catholic Church Cemetery, Pass Christian.
