Teressa Ladner Varnado, age 47 and a resident of Pass Christian, died on Saturday, July 10, 2010, in Gulfport.
Teressa is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Ladner and her godmother, Joann Ladner.
She is survived by her father, James Clyde Ladner; her two daughters, Kera (Beau) Parkerson and Maegon (Jeremy) Niolet; her grandchildren, Trentin, Brooklyn, Eli, Keragon, and Hannah; her brother, Kendrick Ladner; three nieces, and one nephew.
Teressa was a devoted and loving daughter, mother, mother-in-law, nana, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was an inspiration and mother figure to many who referred to her as """"Mama T"""". Her life was centered around her girls, her babies, her family, and her friends. She always put others before herself and gave in any way she could.
One of her passions was capturing priceless moments in life through her photography. She made many sacrifices in life in order to benefit and protect others. She planted a seed in everyone she knew and fought to the very end to protect the ones she loved. She will be greatly missed and will be remembered for her love, strength, courage, generosity, and loyalty.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, from 6pm-10pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road in Pass Christian.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Rotten Bayou Cemetery.
