Teresa Martinez Gray, age 59 and a resident of Biloxi, died Thursday, April 19, 2007, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Gray, a native of Sabine, TX, lived in the United States most of her life. She lived in Mexico for three years, helping to take care of the family ranch there. She was a very active member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Biloxi, and worked for Flick Wiring in Biloxi, IP Casino, and the Keesler commissary.
Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Martinez.
Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Bob Gray, of Biloxi; mother, Arcadia S. Martinez, of Tampico, Mexico; stepchildren, Linda Sue Gray, of Arlington, TX, Karen D. Cole, of McAllister, OK, Chet A. Gray, of Orlando, FL, and Cindy Vancleave; brothers, Placido Martinez, Hipolito Martinez, and Eulalio Martinez, all of Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and Gabriel Martinez, of Bryan, TX; sisters, Dionicia Martinez, Maria Martinez, and Manuela Martinez, all of Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Carmen Garza, of Brownsville, TX, and Lala Garza, of San Benito, TX; several nieces and nephews in Mexico and Texas; and uncles, Adalberto Sierra and Geronimo Sierra, both of Brownsville, TX.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2007, at the Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 23, in the funeral home chapel, with burial at 12:30 p.m. in the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Sq., Gulfport, MS 39507; or to the 7th Day Adventist Church School, 13301 Hwy 67, Biloxi, MS 39532.
