Teddy R. Nelson age 54 of Wiggins, died on Saturday, July 21, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Nelson was a life long resident of the Gulf Coast area, attended Long Beach High School and joined the United States Navy in 1971.He worked as a purchasing agent for many yeaars in Cocca Beach, Florida and then in Mobile for many years. In August of 2005 he became a part owner in the Nelson Brothers Flooring Company in Wiggins. Teddy was a lover of antique cars and especially his Chevrolet Corvette and was very active in Cruisin the Coast and was a great fan of Harley Davidson as a rider.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Nelson, two brothers, Earl and Boyd Nelson.
His survivors include his siblings, Ronald R. (Nelson) Beserra and his wife, Carol of Albuquerque, NM, Leon Nelson and his wife, Carol of Wiggins, Jeryl Nelson and his wife Shiela of Wiggins, Bea Craig and her husband Ray of Long Beach, Joe Nelson and his wife Ann of Stapleton, Ala., Jimmy Nelson and his wife Cheryl of Long Beach.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the RIEMANN FAMILY'S Riemann Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. 49 North from 5 p.m. until the memorial service at 7:00 p.m.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Nelson, Jr., Tony Nelson, Damon Nelson, Troy Beserra, Bradley Williams, Shawn Marion, Emille Craig, Greg Mizell, Rocky Shultz, Jack and William LeBlanc.
