Tammie Estrella

Tammie Faye Garcia Estrella, age 59, of Waveland, MS, passed away on February 27, 2021.
Tammie was a lifelong resident of Hancock County. She was a giving person and always put the needs of others before her own. Tammie was a Bailbond Agent and believed in giving people a second chance. Her huge heart was always willing to help someone in need.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Garcia; her mother, Gretha Dew; a sister, Glenda Crawford; two brothers, John Garcia and Jimmy Garcia; her aunt and uncle, Carolyn and Robert Seal; nephew, Randy Bane; and great-niece, Aja Crawford.
She is survived by her sons, Nicholas and Matthew (Stephanie) Melancon; grandchildren, Nicholas, Nichole Melancon and their mother Betty Morrow; grandson, Max Melancon; two brothers, Ricky Garcia and Kenneth Ray Garcia; her aunt, Nettie Morris; her nephews, Ricky (Ellen) Bane and Artis "Joe" Garcia (Allison); and nieces, Leila Lizana, Bridgette Garcia, and Ricki Dawn Garcia. Tammie is also survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ricky Trader Bane, Ashanti Murphy, Alexander Rivera, Kristen Lizana, Jashira Lizana, and Tevin Crawford and his son Salem; and many other relatives and friends.
A special thanks to her dear friends and caregivers Teresa Weaver, Jennifer Schick and Ash Khaled.
Tammie was loved by many and she will be greatly missed.
The mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux, with visitation beginning at 12pm. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian is serving the family.
