Tammie Marie Benoit, age 48 and a resident of Biloxi, died on Monday, January 9, 2012, in Biloxi.
Tammie had been a former resident of Port Barre, LA and Carencro, LA and had been a resident of Biloxi since 1999. She was a member of the Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast in Biloxi and was employed with the Harrison County School District for 9 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Benoit; her mother, Jeanell Lea and her brother, Blake Benoit.
Tammie is survived by her loving children, Christopher Dalton (Kaylynd) Benoit, Olivia Michelle Benoit, and Tessa Lynn Benoit; her sisters, Mary Lynn (Michael) McGuire, and Michelle Lea (Lee) Ellsworth; her grandchildren, Gabriel Benoit, Chloe Benoit, and A.J. Bryant; her step-mother, Cheryl Benoit Foose and several nephews, nieces, other loving family members, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012, at 11:00am at the Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast Church, 1907 Popps Ferry Road in Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, assisted the family with arrangements.
