Sylvia """"Sissy"""" Ming Warden, age 73 and a resident of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Gulfport.
Sissy was born February 22, 1936 in Paris, Arkansas to Buford and Flossie Ming. She had lived in Gulfport for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Voncrell """"Mutt"""" Warden; her son, Jamie Warden; and her brother, Bob Ming.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Necaise and son-in-law, Butch Necaise of Gulfport; two sisters, Jo Ann Wooten of Russellville, Arkansas and Linda Schluterman and her husband, Michael of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her brother, Jim Ming and his wife, Loretta of Prescott, Arizona; three grandchildren, Rachel Necaise, Justin Warden and Bryce Warden; and two great-grandchildren, Felicity and Chase Bass Necaise, all of Gulfport.
A special thanks to the nurses and nursing aides who took care of Sissy at Azalea Gardens in Wiggins. A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date.
