Sylvia Hensley

Sylvia S. Hensley, age 90, of Gulfport, passed away on May 22, 2008 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Hettie Harris Sparks; brothers, Theodore Sparks, Ed Sparks, and Benjamin Sparks; two sisters, Geneva Chandler and Gloria Huddleston.
Mrs. Hensley is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ora Nelson Hensley, of Gulfport; her sons, Gary Hensley and his wife, Mary, of Memphis, TN, and David Hensley and his wife, Patricia, of Gulfport; her daughters, Peggy Raymond and her husband, Gene, of Sebastopol, California and Vicky Finch and her husband, David, of Baton Rouge, LA; three sisters, Bertha Van Brimmer and her husband, Jim, of Delaware, OH, Harva Lee Spangler and her husband, Doyle, of Circleville, OH, and Betty Stouch and her husband, Bernard, of Sunbury, OH; and two brothers, Doug Sparks and his wife, Betty, of Delaware, OH and Eugene Sparks and his wife, Beverly, of Columbus, OH; eight grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
She was a member of Orange Grove Church of Christ.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 1:30 PM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
