Ms. Sybil B. Taylor, 78, passed away in her home, Sunday, August 12, 2007 to be with the Lord.
She was born in Oconne, GA on April 14, 1929 to Zachery and Lanta White. Her father was a Native American and passed his spirit and beauty to her. She later moved to Gulfport where she lived out her life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved all kinds of plants and it gave her great joy in watching them grow.
""""Mama"""" was always straight to the point and always spoke her mind. She was young at heart and always looked years younger than her age. She loved clothes and loved to dress.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lanta Richards, her second born son, Ronnie T. Brashier, and her first grandson, David J. Brashier.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughter, Lisa Taylor Williams and son-in-law, Lemon M. Williams, Gulfport, her son, Rodney Taylor, Gulfport, her son and daughter-in-law, James and Barbara Taylor, Saucier, and her oldest son, James Brashier, Kiln, grandchildren, Dewayne, Eric, Jeniffer, Brent, Matthew, Jimmie, and Patrick, Great-grandchildren, Jade, Tristan, Daunte, Miracle, Hazel, and Shaylah, and she had a great love for three special people, Gloria Brashier, Kiln, Carol Padgett, Houma, LA, and Diane Newman, Gulfport.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:30 - 4:30 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY'S Gulf Coast Funeral Home, Three Rivers Road Chapel. The funeral service will be at 4:30 pm in the chapel.
Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
